Yoga & Meditation

Yoga is a darsana or philosophy developed by PATANJALI. Patanjali entails an eight-step path to achieve moksha or salvation. Asanas is only one step among them.

Actually, yoga is a state of mind where one attains the ability to view good and bad things with a balanced state of mind. The real goal of yoga is to find true happiness, freedom or enlightenment.

Yoga is of mainly four types

  • Raja yoga
  • Hata yoga
  • Karma yoga
  • Bhakti yoga

Controlling the mind and body through Asanas and Pranayama is called Hata yoga. Even though yoga is not a specific medical treatment system, it can be useful in many diseases. Hata yoga will help to improve the function of all the systems of the body. It is useful in increasing immunity, reducing stress and mental tension and to increase body strength. Yoga is not just simple body exercise.

We have yoga classes everyday morning from 6.30 am to 9.30 am. Along with Ayurvedic treatments, yoga will help you heal your mind and body.
